Michel Rajkovic's is a fine art photographer based in Asnieres, France. He travels the world and captures photos of time passing through landscapes by shooting long exposure photographs on medium format black and white film.
His images show locations in countries that include France, Scotland, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, and the United Kingdom. Each shot is a demonstration of Rajkovic’s careful framing and keen eye for beauty. |
Long-exposure, time-exposure, or slow-shutter photography involves using a long-duration shutter speed to sharply capture the stationary elements of images while blurring, smearing, or obscuring the moving elements. Long-exposure photography captures one element that conventional photography does not: time.

Before
When taking the photos I needed the perfect light, therefor I waited until about 6-7pm when it wasn't too dark nor light. I used a tripod to get the camera at a steady point and level, then I changed my setting manually for a long exposure shot. the settings where 100 ISO, image stabilizer off to prevent blur and bulb shot mode, this allowed me to take the photo as long as I needed the lens was at 30mm zoom.
After the shots I changed the photos to black and white and cropped out the debris at the top.
