I decided to do the available light brief, I took this into my own and want to do light from day and night, using the sun and light from the moon. This means I can use a lot of shadows in my photos. I will use multiple techniques for my photos like short and long exposure, high ISO and slowing the shutter this will allow more light to be exposed into the lens.
Steve Gascoigne
Steve Gascoigne started taking photos of The Isle of Wight after relocating here in 2000 and set up his business Available Light.
He was a professional photographic printer for 10 years, and later began taking his own photos rather than printing other peoples, producing stunning landscape and seascape photographs of the Island with the clever use of light, as the name suggests.
All of his photos are available to buy as limited edition prints in neutral mounts, ready for framing - or printed on artist grade canvas and stretched ready to hang on the wall.

Moonlight Attempt's
In photography and cinematography, available light or ambient light refers to any source of light that is not explicitly supplied by the photographer for the purpose of taking photos. The term usually refers to sources of light that are already available naturally (e.g. the sun, moon, lightning) or artificial light already being used (e.g. to light a room). It generally excludes flashes, although arguably flash lighting provided by other photographers shooting simultaneously in the same space could be considered available light. Light sources that affect the scene and are included in the actual frame are called practical light sources, or simply practical's.
