Carl Sukonik came to visit us and talk about his professional photography career.
He spoke about his career and his choices in the photography industry, he does mostly events such as concerts and so on. A lot of his work is raw photographs with some edited at his clients discretion. He gave a lot of advice and tips to taking photos at a professional level and that all photos can be eligible for the client no matter if its good or bad. He talked about good and bad photos as well, he said good and bad photos can be used because he could think a photo is bad but the client could think its perfect, so you should always allow space for the clients opinion. Speed and patients are two important features to a photographer because sometimes you need to take the perfect snap with minimal equipment and quickly, but on the other hand patients, ensure the photo is perfect and without fault and to allow you to play with features such as light more. Overall his talk gave everyone a wider view on photography and bigger insight to its industrial world.
